Social Services at Casa Guadalupe helps people cope with the challenges they are facing in their lives. Casa provides services to individuals and families that are in need of help.
Casa has had the opportunity to helped over 1,000 individuals and families last year with heating assistance including oil, electric and gas funded by PPL. The department helps with submitting required applications for deposit waivers and income verifications. The department also educates the clients to conserve energy. This program provides an information energy kit, which clients can take home.
Our staff listen to the clients issues and guide them on how we can help or refer the client to community resources such as Rental Assistance, Drug and Alcohol, The Red Cross, Wic, English/GED classes and many more. Our goal is to continue to educate and assist the community and provide the necessary help that is needed to enhance the well being of all people and the community at large.
