Meet Casa
Casa Guadalupe Center of Allentown Pennsylvania
Casa Guadalupe Center is a non-profit, community-based organization established in 1969 to meet the needs of primarily the Latino residents of the Lehigh Valley. It offers services for children, youth, adults, and elderly residents in the areas of health, education, and social services.
Casa works in partnership with other organizations in the community to promote economic empowerment, social mobility, and civic participation of all residents of the Lehigh Valley.
Casa Guadalupe has been serving the First and Sixth Wards of Allentown, PA for over 40 years. We have between 4,000 – 5,000 families walking through our doors on a monthly basis, seeking our help. Our programs include services of WIC, after school K-12 programs, providing meals for the elderly, and social services including assistance with heating costs. “Casa” is a vital part of this community. The families that we serve are all below the Federal income poverty level.
The Casa Guadalupe Center has grown from dedicated volunteers to a United Way member agency employing 18 employees. Casa now provides various programs in the areas of Health, Education, Social Services, and Community Development.
